ABOUT

What Is the IB Programme?

The IB is an educational programme that emphasises critical thinking, international-mindedness, and inquiry-based learning. The Diploma Programme (DP) in particular requires six subject groups plus the core elements of TOK, EE, and CAS, and is highly regarded for university admissions worldwide.

DP Subject Tutoring (Groups 1–6)

The IBDP requires students to choose subjects across six groups: Language and Literature (Group 1), Language Acquisition (Group 2), Individuals and Societies (Group 3), Sciences (Group 4), Mathematics (Group 5), and The Arts (Group 6). ELT provides one-to-one tutoring for both HL (Higher Level) and SL (Standard Level) courses, aiming for the maximum grade of 7 in each subject.

Internal Assessment (IA) & Extended Essay (EE)

Each subject's Internal Assessment accounts for 20–30% of the final grade, making it a critical component. The Extended Essay (a 4,000-word research paper) is one of the core elements. ELT provides step-by-step support covering topic selection, research methodology, essay structure, and academic writing.

TOK (Theory of Knowledge)

TOK is a distinctive IB subject that explores the nature of knowledge, requiring critical thinking and presentation skills. We provide guidance on both the TOK Essay (1,600 words) and the TOK Exhibition, including structuring arguments, building logical reasoning, and refining expression.

CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service)

CAS is a core element that requires experiential learning across the three strands of Creativity, Activity, and Service. We offer advice and guidance on CAS project planning, reflective report writing, and portfolio development.
