PREMIUM ACADEMIC
The core lesson for international and boarding schools
Our highest tier, covering entrance preparation and curriculum support once enrolled. Alongside English teaching it includes monitoring of your child’s progress and advice on choosing schools. For families aiming at, or already at, an international or boarding school, this is where we start.
What this level covers
- Entrance preparation for international and boarding schools (interviews, CAT4, UKiset, ISEB and others)
- IB (International Baccalaureate) across all subjects
- A-Level and AP subject support
- IGCSE, schoolwork support and grade improvement
This suits families who
- Have international or boarding school admissions in view
- Are already enrolled and need IB, A-Level, AP or IGCSE support
- Want to raise school grades, or want someone to consult about school choice
Although both are called PREMIUM, Academic and Professional are different tiers. Only Academic includes progression guidance — monitoring of your child’s progress and advice on choosing schools — and the monthly fee differs accordingly. Professional starts at $559 for four lessons a month and covers executive business English, medical English and aviation English.

CAMPUS TUTORS
Day-to-day study support can run alongside, with Campus Tutors
Current students and postgraduates at leading universities support your child one-to-one with understanding lessons, working through homework and planning revision. Their role differs from the professional teachers who handle exam-period preparation and progression guidance, so you can use either or both.
PREMIUM Academic (professional teachers)
Exam-period preparation, progression guidance and advanced support such as IA and EE. Strong on structure and strategy.
Campus Tutors
Ongoing support with everyday lessons, homework and revision planning, from people who sat the same exams recently.
Campus Tutors are charged separately from PREMIUM Academic, from $990 for a 16-lesson package.
FOUNDATION
If admissions are still ahead, start with the English foundation
Before target schools are settled, we build the four skills through general English or exam preparation. English cannot be crammed at the last minute, so what is built here determines how wide the choice of schools remains. You can move up to PREMIUM Academic once you are ready.

You can move between levels at any time
- From foundation work to entrance preparation, and to curriculum support after admission — as a plan change rather than a cancellation.
- The same consultant carries over, so we continue from what your child has already built.
- The number of lessons (4, 8 or 12 a month) can also be changed as the year progresses.

Yes, at any time. The levels are designed to be moved through in stages: general English to build the foundation, then entrance preparation, then curriculum support after admission. Your consultant will suggest when to switch, based on how your child is progressing.
Yes. It is treated as a plan change rather than a cancellation, moving on to enrolment preparation, support with schoolwork, and IB / A-Level / AP / IGCSE preparation. The same consultant carries over, so we continue from what your child has already built.
Yes, we accept requests for specific subjects only, such as Math, Science, or particular IB/A-level subjects. Combinations with other subjects are also possible, so please let us know your preferences.
Yes, as long as you meet the minimum lesson requirement, we can flexibly adjust your lesson frequency. We will propose the optimal plan to suit your needs.
Each one-on-one lesson is 50 minutes.
All ELT lessons are conducted online, allowing you to participate from anywhere — whether at home or on the go.
Yes. We have supported children in various time zones including Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Please let us know your family's schedule and we'll work out suitable times.
The enrollment fee is a flat $199 (tax incl.). There are no conditional waivers.
The consultation is free for everyone. The follow-up trial lesson and English assessment with a native instructor (50 minutes) is offered at a special rate of $149 (tax incl.), available only to those who have taken the free consultation and for the first session only. The assessment fee is not credited towards enrollment or any contract.
Your payment currency depends on the language of your support. If your contract, counseling, and all correspondence are handled entirely in Japanese, you pay in Japanese yen (the lessons themselves are conducted in English). If you would like your contract, counseling, and correspondence in a language other than Japanese, payment is made in US dollars. Prices are shown in Japanese yen when the site language is Japanese, and in US dollars for all other languages.
