We encourage you to bring materials from your actual work: email drafts, external proposals and quotes, internal reports and approval documents, and upcoming presentation slides. We refine these during lessons, preparing English you can put into practice immediately in your next meeting or email.
Business English cannot be mastered through one-off lessons. At ELT, we typically assign the same instructor to work with you consistently in one-on-one sessions. Your instructor develops a deep understanding of your work, role, and strengths and weaknesses, designing your growth with a long-term perspective.

Holly studied Japanese at Oxford University, then spent 20 years advising institutional investors in the UK and Europe on Japanese equities. After leaving the financial industry, she earned a master's degree in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics from the University of London. A CELTA-certified ESOL/EFL teacher, Holly provides online private lessons at ELT while volunteering at citizens advice bureaus and West London Welcome, a refugee support organization. She specializes in business English, financial English, and pronunciation coaching.
Tom graduated with First Class Honours in English Literature from Cambridge University. He then taught English at Japanese schools through the JET Programme. Holding a UK Primary School Teaching Certificate, he is passionate about helping students grow with confidence and creative thinking. He also earned a master's degree in Children's Book Illustration from Anglia Ruskin University and creates children's picture books and illustrations, making him an expert in lessons for children.
After earning his master's degree in English Literature from Oxford University, Andrew supported executives working overseas at JFE Holdings and taught at Japanese universities for 5 years. He later completed his MBA at Manchester Business School and worked in institutional sales for Japanese equities at a securities firm. He has extensive experience teaching general business English, specialized English, and lessons for executives and MBA students. He excels at coaching for conference speeches, presentations, and preparing executives for life and work abroad, particularly in the UK.
After graduating from University College London, David became an ICAO-certified Aviation English Examiner, evaluating the English proficiency of pilots, cabin crew, and air traffic controllers at airlines worldwide. He then served as Head of ESL at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy, providing ESL programs to multinational students, coaching staff, and professional tennis players. He has also taught English to high-level business professionals at renowned companies including Google, Deloitte, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Sumitomo Corporation.

After studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University, he obtained a Master's degree in TEFL from the University of Birmingham. He gained experience as both an instructor and executive in English education across Asia and the UK, including teacher development at the British Council's Tokyo office. He served as Head of the English Language Centre at London Metropolitan University before becoming Chief Quality Officer at ELT. Co-author of the globally bestselling business English textbook 'Market Leader.'

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled with no cancellation fee. Simply notify us by the 15th of the month, and your membership will end at the end of that month. The system is designed for flexible starts and pauses.
Yes. If you notify us by the 15th of the month, your new plan will take effect the following month. We flexibly accommodate changes in lesson frequency (4/month, 8/month, 12/month), plan level (Basic, Standard, Premium), and payment methods.
Yes, it is completely free. It consists of a consultation (15-20 minutes) to discuss your learning goals and current situation, followed by an actual lesson experience (25-30 minutes). There is no cost whatsoever. We never pressure you to enroll after the trial.
Yes, you can. Many of our students use their company's professional development support programs, language training subsidies, and global talent development funds to take ELT lessons. We are happy to provide any required documentation, including receipts, certificates of completion, and estimates. If you have specific document formats or requirements, please let us know.
Yes, we can. We issue receipts addressed to either your company or you personally, on a per-lesson, monthly, or annual basis. We also comply with Japan's qualified invoice system. Please let us know if you have specific format or addressee requirements.
Yes, we can. We issue certificates of completion that include the study period, number of lessons, assigned instructor, and lesson content. ELT courses are also available as pre-assignment overseas training, and many clients use their company's training budget to enroll.
