Advance to leading meetings, negotiations, and presentations in English.

Why ELT
Why Choose ELT Business English?
Step up to 'driving business results in English'
Many English conversation services focus on beginner to intermediate learners, offering low-cost lessons with non-native instructors or AI conversation apps designed to help you 'get comfortable' with English.
ELT's Business English Course is positioned differently. Our target audience is intermediate to advanced business professionals who already have a solid foundation in English, but still feel uncertain when it comes to leading meetings, closing negotiations, or delivering compelling explanations to executives.
Our goal is not simply 'being able to speak English,' but 'achieving business results in English.'
| Typical English Services | ELT Business English | |
|---|---|---|
| Target | Daily conversation / Beginners | Expats / Managers / Specialists |
| Goal | Get comfortable / Reduce speaking anxiety | Lead meetings, negotiations, presentations in English |
| Instructors | Low-cost / Often non-native | Native instructors with business experience |
| Lesson Content | Generic topics | Directly relevant to your actual work and materials |

ELT Business English Features
Professional Native Instructors
Our instructors are not just native English speakers—they bring real business experience and specialized expertise. We match you with instructors from backgrounds in consulting, IT & technology, finance & pharmaceuticals, marketing, HR, legal, and more. They provide feedback that considers not just your English expressions, but the underlying business context.
Specialized for Intermediate+ Learners
You have the grammar basics down and can handle simple daily conversations. But you still feel uncertain in business situations—our courses are designed specifically for intermediate to advanced learners like you. Lessons are conducted entirely in English, focusing on phrases and expressions used in real business settings. For beginners, we offer separate stepping-stone courses.
Your Real Work Becomes the Curriculum
We encourage you to bring materials from your actual work: email drafts, external proposals and quotes, internal reports and approval documents, and upcoming presentation slides. We refine these during lessons, preparing English you can put into practice immediately in your next meeting or email.
One-on-One Lessons with Consistent Instructor
Business English cannot be mastered through one-off lessons. At ELT, we typically assign the same instructor to work with you consistently in one-on-one sessions. Your instructor develops a deep understanding of your work, role, and strengths and weaknesses, designing your growth with a long-term perspective.
Flexible Scheduling for Busy Professionals
International meetings, core responsibilities, business trips... We design flexible schedules so busy professionals can stay on track: evening and early morning lessons available, online access from anywhere including while traveling, and intensive programs (e.g., pre-assignment preparation) upon request.
